ReplyDeleteNot the normal type of registration that involves change of plate number, this is done to document vehicles that comes in to the country.I drove in my Nissan car with Burkina Faso plate number, from Bobo the economic capital of Burkina to Delta state via Abeokuta. The Seme is to problematic for me.
DeleteYour car will be value and you paid as if you are importing the car.The amount you pay is refundable as you come back to that frontier post.I was given two weeks.Normally I think it should be one week then you go to the custom office in your state to extend the date if you need. You are given a paper that ensure that your vehicle has been documented for entring Nigeria.Your vehicle information is registered in the Immigration and Custom document. You ply the road with your foreign vehicle documents. You do not need to change the plate number.I used international driving licence.
